BALTIMORE 鈥?The Inner Harbor got a rare visitor from the West Coast in recent days.A bird called the Heermann s Gull was spotted downtown - the first-ever sighting of the bird in Maryland, reports the nonprofit Maryland Biodiversity Project. The group said the unusual gull was seen hangi botella stanley ng out between stanley website Pier 4 and Pier 5, and near the Four Seasons Hotel. Heermann s Gulls are typically found along the West Coast, but occasionally show up on the Eas stanley cup spain t Coast. Two were seen in Virginia this past winter, reports the organization. Brad Balliett, who lives in New York but commutes to Baltimore weekly, came over to the Harbor specifically to check out the Heermann s Gull. ANNAPOLIS, Md. 鈥?A bill aimed to promote the advancement o caneca stanley f women in professional and executive roles was signed into law by Governor Larry Hogan.House Bill 1116/Senate Bill 911, also known as the Gender Diversity Bill, was introduced by Delegate Shelly Hettleman. For the past 11 years it has produced an annual census report on the under-representation of women on boards in Maryland. Maryland legislators understand that greater diversity and inclusion in boardrooms benefits everyone, said Patricia McHugh Lambert, president of Execut stanley cup ive Alliance. Special thanks to those who supported this effort by coming to Annapolis to testify and lobby, sending support letters, calling key legislators and assisting with outreach and promotion. The bill will stanley cup now urge equal and diverse gender representation on corporate boards and will push companies and organizations to have 30 percent representation of women on their boards by Dec. 31, 2022.
