Some of Barrie first responders will have a new hub to call home soon.City council received an update on construction progress at the Barrie-Simcoe Emergency Services Campus, located at 110 Fairview Rd., during a meeting Sept. 30. Major construction completion and building occupancy are on schedule Dec. 13 and Jan. 20, respectively, facility planning and development manager Jessica Liefl said. Major site construction is ongoing and has been progressing well, she said.
