irector General Afghan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA), Dr. Daim Kakar called on chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) at Prime Minister s Office. The Afghan delegation is on a three-day stanley website visit to Pakistan. Chairman NDMA Major General Muhammad Saeed Aleem gave his Afghan counterparts a briefing on the development of Pakistan s disaster management system. The Afghan delegation similarly discussed the challenges they are confronted with while tackling both natural and manmade disasters. The ANDMA s Technical Advisor Dr. Lais Mustafa also briefed NDMA officials on ANDMA s development, monitoring and execution of policy, strategies and planning for disaster management.
