PESHAWAR:To overcome losses amounting to Rs3 billion per month, the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) disconnected supply to various localities in the province that had not paid their dues.Carrying out its Disconnection and Recovery Campaign , Pesco officials in Warsak鈥揑I sub-division聽聽 disconnected power supply of 50 yeezy slide kilovolt amps (KVA) to Sadiqabad, Pesco spokesperson Shaukat Afzal said, adding, During the campaign, officials also traced 20 direct power connections against which FIRs have been lodged in the concerned police stations. He added the Pesco team of Gul Bela sub-division cut off power supply of four 50 KVA transformers and two 25 KVA transformers in Garhi Chandan.On the detection of illegal power connections in Haryana Bala and Railway Lines Peshawar under Shahi Bagh and Daudzai nike air 270 sub-divisions, FIRs against 18 people were registered, Afzal added.I dunk n the southern region of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), electricity of Banda Sweri was also disconnected.In Darsamand area of ISLAMABAD:A Supreme Court six-judge bench, headed by Justice Sardar Masood, will take up on January 29 the intra-court appeals (ICAs) agains new balances 530 t declaring the military trying civilians as unconstitutional.The other members of the bench include Justices Aminuddin Khan, Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Hasan Azhar Rizvi, Musarat Hilali and Irfan Saadat Khan.In its first hearing of the matter, the bench had conditionally suspended its prior decision to invalidat nb e military trials for 103 civilians till a final judgment on the matter.The SC stated that the ongoing military trials of the civilians, accused of involvement in attacks on army installations during the unrest following the arrest of former premier Imran Khan on May 9 last year, would carry on for now but the final decision would be new balance damen subject to its final ruling.The majority 5-1 verdict stemmed from a series of ICAs filed by the caretaker federal government and the interim provincial governments of Balochistan, Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa challe
