The TBI is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Cookeville. Repair work on the interstate bridge at exit 239 on Interstate 59 in DeKalb County, Alabama, began today, according to the Alabama Department of Transportation.ALDOT officials said in a news release that the bridge was damaged in a May 29 crash and a $628,200 repair contract was recently awarded to Wright Brothers Construction.I-59 southbound is currently reduced to one lane, officials said.
