About 3,340 Hamilton County residents became fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a result of Chattanooga s Vax 4 Cash adidas samba og Sweepstakes, according to a news release from the city.The release states the city emailed a two-question survey to the nearly 19,000 people who entered and received the responses from entrants saying they either got vaccinated themselves or knew someone else who did because of the sweepstakes.The sweepstakes launched Aug. 5, and the final winner was chosen at the e yeezy nd of January. Burglary suspect held in McMinnA McMinn County man was arrested Sunday in the Friday night burglary of the Marathon Food Mart on State Highway 39 when deputies identified him from store surveillance cameras, Sheriff Joe Guy said. Deputies responding to an alarm found the store s front door was broken in and the stock had been disturbed. They obtained a photograph from a surveillance camera and recovered fingerprints, Guy said.The deputies identified the suspect as Brian Keith Hafley, 39, of Athens, Guy said, and took him into custody at his home late Sunday morning.
