SAN DIEGO KGTV - Two Navy SEALs were rescued after their boat capsized several miles off the coast of San Diego. 10News learned the SEALs were not on duty, and they were fishing for tuna when their boat overturned at around 4 a.m. Monday about 27 miles southwest of Point Loma.Jason Rombotis, captain of the sportfishing boat known as the Pegasus, told 10News he was using high-tech binoculars to look for tuna when he saw someone waving three miles away. As the boat got closer, he noticed two people sta stanley canada nding on an overturned boat. The Pegasus crew tossed over some life vests and were able to rescue the SEALs. The men spent the rest of the day with the crew that rescued them, as the group finished their fishing excursion. Once I saw there was two of them, I asked, Is there anyone else and he said, No, just us, Rombotis said. They got on the boat with no wallets, no stanley uk car keys, nothing, just wet clothes ... they just hung out the rest of the day. The SEALs told the captain they were trying to sleep when the boat started sinking for unknown reasons. The men said they had life vests, but everything stanley canada else on the boat was already underwater.
