Unconfirmed death toll estimates in Florida after Ian spread rapidly on Thursday as rescue and recovery operations had just begun and officials were assessing the devastating damage. Half the windows at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum s Grand Junction Depot will be replaced thanks to an almost $68,000 grant from the Tennessee State Museum.The $67,500 state grant for capital maintenance and improvements is part of $5 million in funding from the 2024-2025 Appropriations Act passed this year by the Tennessee General Assembly, according to a museum news release. The funding is solely aimed at nonprofit or government-operated museums.The Grand Junction Depot is 42 years old, and all the windows on the nike air max ground floor are targeted for replacement, Penelope Gault, spokesperson for the museum, said in an email.
