There are seven questions that will appear on ballots across Nevada during this election cycle.The Nevada Secretary of State s Office has put together a Ballot Questions Guide to give voters information on all of those questions, arguments both for and against the measures, and what happens next if the questions pass. There are crucial races and ballot questions Nevada citizens will have the opportunity to vote on this year that impact how we live, learn or vote, Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar said. The more informed we are about candidates, ballot questions and the electoral process, the better off our state will be. Big Cottonwood Canyon is home to Solitude Mountain Resort and Brighton Resort. They each have their own process for parking. But on Wednesday, representatives from both resorts and the town of Brighton gathered to discuss their strategies for dealing with the crowds of skiers and snowboarders traveling up the canyon, especially on weeken stanley thermosflasche ds. One of the more obvious solutions is carpooling. However, Solitude has taken an extra ste stanley mugs p to encourage this by launching its very own carpooling app. That way, people driving up the canyon with empty seats in their cars can make the most out of the trip, while others traveling solo can still conveniently get up to the mountain without adding another car to the resort parking lot and traffic on State Route 190. Solitude president and COO Amber Broadaway also encouraged the use of Utah Transit Authority s Ski Bus, which is free for those with passes to the resorts or an Ikon pass. She also reminded riders to check the timetables for the Big Cottonwood route 972 before showing up at the bus stops. One of the biggest changes both resorts are making: parking reservations. A pedestrian was sent Wednesday evening to a Chattanooga-area hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Lee Highway and Customer Delight Drive.Around 7 p. samba rose m., Patricia Oberst, 61, was traveling south on Lee Highway in the left lane approaching Customer Delight Drive when the pedestrian was crossing Lee Highway from the ea dunks shoes st side to the west side of the road, according to a news release. Dalton s City Council districts Follow @newsga DALTON, Ga. -- By the next city election in two years, Dalton candidates and voters may have a different voting system that could address concerns about lack of Hispanic representation.City and Hispanic leaders have met to discuss changes to the at-large voting system in Dalton, which allows the entire city s residents to vote in all council races rathe stanley termos r than just voters in the district where the candidates live.Hispanics and city leaders say they want to resolve the issue and reach an agreement that satisfies everyone.
