It was a chilly night in Miami. My friends and I were sitting down in chairs in Coco Walk, Coconut Grove waiting for other friends to arrive. I remembered the shooting challenge and decided to take some shots. Shooting Summary: Camera: Samsung Galaxy S3 Focal Length: 3.7 MM Aperture: 2.6 Exposure time: 1/30 Iso: 1600 Flash Used Bumped up the contrast through instagram Rudy Castillo My photo-shoot took me all over SF, and I got many good shots, but I liked my shots of the Palace of Fine Arts due to it being bottom lit by multiple spot lights, as well as lights from inside the dome. These light sources make for some interesting shadow directions. I was going to take the shot from the other side of the pond with the fountain in the foreground, but I wanted to be as close as possible to try to capture the feeling of awe and magnificence . I did most of the work on this in Camera Raw and then the final touches in Photoshop cs6. I used a Nikon D3100, the metadata is f/8, shutter speed of 8, and ISO of 200. Matthew Singleton Over the weekend it suddenly started snowing again here in Switzerland, so I wrapped my camera in a plastic bag, got my tripod and umbrella, and went outside. This little Angel was getting covered in snow and stared at me begging me to take a picture.
