You often read about a dog or a cat saving an owner life, but you almost never read about a heroic rabbit. That is until now. The rabbit rescue went down in Ketchikan, Alaska where an early morning fire broke out in a residence. The rabbit was apparently aware of the fire, jumped on the homeowner bed and began scratching the woman chest until she woke up. Realizing there was a fire, the homeowner and stanley mugs her daughter escaped safely. Sadly, the rabbit did not. It succumbed to smoke inhalation.
