A school bus driver for the Barren County School district is accused of a child sex crime.The Barren County Sheriffs Office charged Randall James Hastedt, 34, Tuesday with one count of attempt to use of a minor in a sexual performance.The incident comes as a shock to the school district, as Hastedt had a clean record with no previously reported issues.Hastedt was operating the school bus when it was reported that he offered a female juvenile stanley drinking cup $20 twice in exchange for her to show him her breasts, according to his arrest warrant.Hastedt resigned from his job Tuesday,聽Barren County Sheriff Deputy Mike Houchens said. It was a just a matter of a few minutes after it was reported to the high school that it was brought to my attention. We had detectives there probably 10 to 15 minutes later.
