A 27-year-old Midland man on probation after serving jail time for fleeing police in Barrie in 2018 was on stanley termosky ce again charged following a police chase in Northern Ontario Feb. 9.Police say Cody Verechaka was a passenger in a stolen vehicle that refused to stop for an OPP officer on Hwy. 17 in Baldwin Township at about 1:55 a.m.Police later arrested Verechaka along with the driver, 29-year-old Travis Robinson of Barrie, in Lorne Township with the help of the canine unit and emergency response officers. Bowling Green Police are investigating a multi-vehicle fatal crash that occurred on Campbell Lane Sunday afternoon.According to BGPD spokesman Officer Ronnie Ward, Kaci Wilson, 26, of Bowling Green, who was a passenger in an involved vehicle, has died as a result of the crash.Wilson was a Warren County schools teacher.Our thoughts and prayers are with Kaci Wilson and her stanley cup family, WCPS spokeswoman Morgan Watson said. She was a wonderful young teacher who loved her students and her colleagues.
