More women are testing positive for COVID-19, but health authorities say limited data indicates the hospitalization and death rate due to coronavirus is higher among men.As of Saturday April 11 , Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health WDGPH reported there were 132 confirmed cases of coronavirus within its jurisdiction. Of those confirmed cases, 43.2 per cent are reportedly men versus 56.8 per cent being women.The statistics show a similar trend at the Dufferin County and provincial level.
