The Baltimore County Fire Department was awarded $681,819 in funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency s Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program, Maryland Senators Ben Cardin D-Md. and Chris Van Hollen D-Md. announced Friday.The department can no purchase three new ambulances for specialized care with the funds. Cardin and Van Hollen worked to secure $ stanley thermos 345 mill stanley cups uk ion in funding for the program in 2018. The funds are awarded directly to fire departments and their training academies. Nothing is more important than safety and security of our communities, and their safety directly depends on ensuring our first responders have the resources they need to mitigate emergencies, said Senator Cardin.
