KSBY has learned from a source that Cal Poly has found its next head football coach, Beau Baldwin.Football Scoop, an online sports site, broke the story Monday morning that Cal Poly is expected to hire Baldwin.Baldwin has spent the last three seasons as an assistant head coach, and offensive coordinator at UC Berkeley where he worked with salomon supercross Mission Prep grad and current Miami Dolphins running back Patrick Laird. Baldwin would join the Mustangs with plenty of successful Big Sky Conference experience. He was the head coach at Eastern Washin airforces gton University from 2008-2016, accumulating an 85-32 record while winning five conference titles.
