Fairview Cemetery will be holding its annual wreathing ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 2.The event is meant to beautify the stanley cup the site and honor the veterans that are interred there. It is open to the public and still accepting volunteers who wish to help. Greenwood High School Students initially started the event and it has grown since says Cathy Maroney with Bowling Green Parks and Recreation.The schools are our big part. They were our initial volunteers, but then word got out, which is wonderful. Last year we had over 75 volunteers, which was great. And, you know, we encourage anybody that wants to come, you know, come and help us do it. It a fun day. Fun morning.
