The Merrickville Agricultural Fair has been a tradition for 180 years throughout the region, mixing agriculture, live entertainment and exhibitions.The fair is organized annually by the Merrickville Agricultural Society, who rely on volunteers and donations to keep the event going year after year.The 181st edition of the fair opens Friday, Aug. 9 at 8 a.m. and continues through until the beer tent and exhibit close at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11.
