The Verge is reporting that Verizon is finally getting a version of Nokia flagship Lumia 920 phone. The phone is reportedly called the stanley quencher 8220;Nokia Laser REAL TIMELY, GUYS . The Lumia 920, of course, has been an AT 038;T exclusive since its launch. The Laser will be released alongside another Lumia phone from Nokia forthcoming Catwalk line, which is supposed to be slimmer, lighter and made of aluminum. Both should be out later this year. That would be great stanley termoska news for Windows Phone fans on Verizon, who have the very good HTC 8X, but no premium Nokia phone. We ;d expect to hear something about all of Nokia new phones at MWC next month, and probably not toooo much of a wait after t stanley cup hat. Nokia told us at CES that it wants to avoid a situation like last year, where it would announce a phone, and then wait months to release it. Fingers crossed that means we ;ll see these phones sooner rather than later. [Verge] NokiaSmartphonesVerizon Qbfv Twitter Is Working with TV Networks to Add Video to Twitter
This video of an M class solar flare condenses three hours of explosion into a dramatic 1-minute video. The mesmerizing part is the graceful way the fountain of flowing plasma floats back to the Sun stanley botella surface. It doesn ;t just plop back down, rather, it follows the star magnetic field lines. The flare was recorded on September 25, just one day after a larger X-class flare eruption, by the Solar Dynamics Observatory. The earlier flare may have been larger, but the observatory, which is orbiting the earth, is showing us a more dramatic image of the smaller one. M is the second-highest in the flare classification it goes B, C, M, X . Similar to the Richter scale, each letter represents a ten-fold increase in energy output X is 10 times an M and 100 times a C. Class X flares can cause radiation storms and worldwide black outs. That why NASA closely monitors and classifies them. This particular flare might be just a hiccup for the sun, but Phil Plait at Bad Astronomy points out: 鈥he total energy released would still dwarf the combined nuclear might of every country on Earth! By a lot. Check out NASA guide to flares to learn more about the classification system.
