The United State Womens National Team locked arms with members of the Canadian Womens National Team Thursday before the two squads faced each other in the SheBelieves Cup.The Canadian side played Thursdays game in protest as they are fighting to have the same level of support their male counterparts receive.The battle for equal pay and treatment is one the U.S. squad knows a stanley mug ll too well. Members of the squad clashed with U.S. Soccer officials for years before securing an agreement last year that saw players splitting earnings with the mens team.The teams wore purple tape in hopes of drawing attention to the issue. Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield has been having quite the season, and after last Sundays performance can not only call himself a winner, but also the NFLs Rookie of the Month.The National Football League announced Thursday that Mayfield had been named NFL stanley thermos Rookie of the Month for November.In November, Mayfield led the Browns to a 2-1 record, the clubs highest monthly percentage since Oct. 2014.In addition to stanley quencher wins, Mayfield has recorded some impressive stats in November.
