BALTIMORE 鈥?Two Baltimore County officers were hit by a car while tryi stanley quencher ng to arrest a suspect in Baltimore City on Friday. According to Baltimore County Police spokesperson Jen Peach, around 10:50 a.m. three units carrying officers as part of a Warrant Apprehension Task Force were trying to arrest a wanted man in Baltimore City. The officers were following a white Kia they knew the suspect was a passenger in and tried to pull it over in front of St. Agnes hospital.Monday, Baltimore County Police identified the man who was the target of the Warrant Apprehension unit as 30-year-old Jamell William Smith, of the 1900 block of Green Gage Road of Baltimore.Police say in an effort to make the arrest, detectives in an unmarked minivan pulled in front of the suspect car to make them stop.
